Our Training and Placement Officer plays a crucial role in shaping the careers of our students by providing career guidance, organizing placement drives, and building strong industry connections. They are dedicated to helping students become job-ready by offering training programs, workshops, and continuous support.
Recently, AGC has set up a dedicated Placement Cell for both on-campus and off-campus placement drives. While such initiatives are common in private colleges, implementing this in a Government-Aided Degree College is truly remarkable. The Placement Cell works tirelessly to create meaningful job opportunities for our students.
Last year, around seven companies/educational institutions visited AGC for campus placements, including Maithon Steel, Super Smelter, Vaishnavi Communication, My School, Maruti, SBI Life, and Solar Power. Many students were successfully recruited.
Additionally, students participated in off-campus placement drives organized by top companies like Wipro, Cognizant, and TCS, with active support from our Placement Cell throughout the process.
